It is not suggested to leave this umbrella open in winds up to 60km/h.  Natural windy conditions are unpredictable and gusty – not controlled and consistent.  The wind rating provided by the factory is to give you peace of mind as to the structural strength of this umbrella.  Do not put your umbrella to the test.  All cantilever umbrellas should be collapsed in breezy conditions and collapsed when not in use. An umbrella should never be left up when unattended. Wind damage is NOT covered by warranty.

• Do not leave umbrella open when unattended and make sure it’s closed in windy or adverse weather conditions.
• Do not tilt umbrella in windy or adverse weather conditions.
• Hose down the frame with fresh water periodically, more frequently if you live in a salty or an industrial environment.
• Regularly dust the umbrella canopy so that dust and debris are not allowed to sit on the fabric for extended periods. After dusting hose down the canopy and allow to stay open until it is dry.
• Make sure umbrella is dry and clean prior to storing away for extended periods of time.
• We recommend using a protective umbrella cover to help keep the canopy clean and dry when not in use, helping to extend its lifespan.
