Umbrella Fellas Warranty Policy is provided in addition to other rights and remedies in respect of the product, which the purchaser has under the Trade Practices Act and similar State and Territory Laws. Nothing in this warranty will exclude, restrict or modify any conditions, warranty rights or liability implied in this purchase or protected by law where to do so would render this warranty void.
In all cases the Umbrella Fellas Warranty excludes normal wear and tear, wind damage, commercial use of Domestic Products, use of unreasonable force, failure of reasonable care, failure of maintenance, inadequate or incorrect installation and incorrect assembly by the customer. The Umbrella Fellas Warranty applies only to the original purchaser from the purchase date, and only covers (subject to the terms set out below) manufacturing faults or defects which occur in normal use. Products that are sold for domestic use are not warranted for commercial usage.
All products sold require regular maintenance by the purchaser. This will include checking all fittings and fixtures on a regular basis to ensure that they have not come loose or are suffering wear due to their environment. Products that are deemed to have failed due to lack of regular, routine maintenance may not be considered as a warranty claim. Umbrella Fellas is a retailer and as such, extends the warranties that the manufacturers place on their products. These warranties are clearly stated on our website and on our individual product pages. If a warranty claim is made, the claim may initially be made with Umbrella Fellas but the actual honouring or otherwise of the warranty will be made by the respective manufacturer and not by Umbrella Fellas.
Different fabrics have different warranty periods and properties. Warranties and terms for individual products are clearly displayed on individual product pages and below.
Where a claim is made pursuant to the Warranty, Umbrella Fellas will, at its best discretion repair, refinish, replace with a similar product or refund the product. Only the failed item will be replaced, not additional components sold together. The Umbrella Fellas Warranty period is not extended in the event of a replacement.
In the event of a Purchaser wishing to make a Warranty Claim with Umbrella Fellas. Please follow the following process
- Email Umbrella Fellas, stating the name the umbrella was purchased under, the invoice number and date of purchase.
- State details of the problem with the product.
- Include Photos and videos (such details must be sufficient for Umbrella Fellas to determine whether a Warranty applies).
- If a claim is accepted, the purchaser will be provided authority to return this item to Umbrella Fellas address, with the original tax invoice.
- The purchaser is responsible for arranging the return and must bear all costs associated with shipping the product to Umbrella Fellas. The purchaser is also responsible for any costs involved in the return freight if the umbrella is repaired/replaced.
